A new way to experience classic literature
Rebind company approached Mind Studios with the idea of transforming how people engage with classic literature.
Their vision was to turn solitary reading into a guided, interactive experience, combining long-form texts with AI-driven conversation and curated commentary from some of the world’s most fascinating thinkers.
Building a meaningful reading experience
Our main goal was making an AI-based eBook reader and transforming Rebind’s concept into a fully functional, web-based e-reading platform that redefines how users interact with classic literature. We developed a responsive system that combines three critical elements: long-form book content, AI-powered interactive conversations, and original video storytelling.
A key part of the experience was integrating commentary from renowned Rebinders. These celebrated thinkers include Derren Brown, John Banville, Deepak Chopra, Margaret Atwood (joining soon), and many more. Their voices add credibility and richness to each reading journey.

Challenge
Rethinking the e-reading platform format
Traditional AI book readers offer linear reading — scroll, read, repeat. Rebind’s goal was to create an interactive, evolving conversation where readers engage deeply with expert insights.
Our solution
We built a modular system combining reading, short video intros, and AI-driven commentary into a seamless experience. Users can highlight passages, reflect in journals, and chat dynamically with Rebinders, making reading more guided and engaging.

Challenge
Balancing human and AI
Rebind captured hundreds of hours of expert interviews, but only a fraction could surface during real-time reading. Preserving the authentic voice of Rebinders while allowing flexible AI-driven conversations was essential.
Our solution
We created a hybrid content system blending indexed commentary with AI-generated responses. Structured transcripts and generative AI are clearly labeled through “x-ray” transparency, ensuring users know when responses come directly from experts.
