In this role, you will

  • Develop overall QA processes and approaches, create technical documentation
  • Plan work and priorities for QA team, distributing tasks between team members
  • Mentor and supervise our QA Team
  • Support test execution planning and reporting
  • Estimate required testing time
  • Perform testing activities
  • Prepare test documentation (test plans, test cases/checklists etc.)
  • Perform requirements clarification and processing
  • Help organize and monitor development processes
  • Initiate and drive improvements
  • Introduce new testing types and tools
  • Track QA team members' efficiency

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Ability to focus on multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving ability and pro-activeness
  • Knowledge of mobile-based application: iOS, Android
  • Understanding of web technologies: HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/JSON
  • Advanced experience in logs information processing (e.g Kibana, Graylog, logcat)
  • Experience with REST API testing (e.g. Curl, Swagger, Postman)
  • Familiar with Charles, Fiddler, Kafka, Android Studio, Team City, Jenkins
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies
  • Service and teamwork orientation
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
  • Good English communication skills (both written and spoken)

Next knowledge will be beneficial

  • Team management experience
  • Experience with onboarding and coaching of QA team members
  • Understanding of programming languages (Java or any other)
